LAHORE: A four-day training camp for national side’s upcoming tours of Ireland and England will start at the Gaddafi Stadium from Thursday.

The camp will conclude on Sunday before Sarfraz Ahmed-led Pakistan team leaves for England on Monday.

Pakistan are scheduled to play two warm-up matches — against Kent and Northamptonshire — before facing Ireland in the latter’s inaugural Test in Dublin on May 11 and then heading back to England to face the hosts in Test matches at Lord’s May 24) and Headingley (June 1).

From the 16-man squad, announced last Sunday by the national selection committee, 15 have reported to camp commandant Talat Ali on Wednesday.

The 16th player, seamer Mohammad Abbas, is already in England playing county cricket and will join the team there.

According to the schedule only morning session will be held daily over the next four days of the short camp.
