Never give up

This is with reference to the story “Never give up” by Farwa Tabassum (YW, March 10). The writer beautifully expressed the whole idea of never giving up on things and presented it in a rather funny way.

Giving up is really easy, but what really matters is how to take it as a challenge without being afraid of failure. Apart from that, the story also had a message about reusing and recycling things in a creative way. The girl in the story took her punishment as a challenge and worked hard and finally achieved her goal, making her mum and teachers proud of her.

Good deeds always pay

This is regarding the story “Good deeds always pay” by Eeman Ali (YW, March 3). In our daily life, we come across many things which seem to give us temporary pleasure and if we succumb to them, it is likely that we would hurt others and lose our reputation.

The story brilliantly explained a scenario where a needy girl could have taken the money, but her honesty didn’t let her do such a bad deed, and, as a reward, she got what she really deserved.

Play sports, not virtual games

This is regarding the article “Play sports, not virtual games” by Ahmed Rashdi (YW, March 10).

Of course, sports are good for health as they relieve us from stress and anxiety. I am one of those who prefer physical activity, any kind of sports whenever I feel bored and stressed. It not only takes my worries away but also refreshes my mind and I feel energetic.

Sports keep us physically and mentally healthy. Therefore, children and youngsters should take an active part in sports and not waste time on mobile phones, computers or TV.
