LAHORE: The death toll of Raiwind blast increased to 12 on Monday when another man injured in the terrorist attack succumbed to his wounds at the Jinnah Hospital here.

Abdul Razzaq (37) had come from Karachi to participate in the Tablighi congregation held at Raiwind where a suicide bomber blew himself up near a police post.

The banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) later accepted the responsibility for the attack.

Following the blast, Razzaq was shifted to the Jinnah Hospital with critical wounds he suffered in the attack. His body has been shifted to the city morgue for an autopsy.

Total 12 people, including seven policemen, lost their lives in the terrorist attack.
