FAISALABAD: A fire erupted on Tuesday in the storeroom of the Faisalabad Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE).

Rescue 1122 officials were called by the board officials who extinguished the fire by breaking the windowpanes of the storeroom.

According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. He said the storeroom was built on a 10-marla piece of land.

A board official said an internal inquiry would be launched into the incident to ascertain what caused the blaze and to assess the damage done to the official record.
