THE University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar’s Kohat campus is in a shambles. I graduated last year and most painfully want to inform readers that its building is worse than that of a government primary school building. There are no proper labs, cafeteria and hostels for boys and girls.
During the four years, I found the university closed most of the time owing to strikes on one pretext or the other.
I read in Dawn that Rs2 billion will be spent on UET’s Dir campus. I request the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to improve the Kohat campus first before focusing on Dir campus.
