GWADAR: A grenade was hurled at a house in Kech district on Friday night, but the labourers living there remained unhurt, police said.

A police officer said some people threw a grenade inside the rented house situated in Saghanisar colony of Turbat town. The resultant explosion badly damaged a portion of the house but luckily caused no injuries.

The windowpanes of nearby houses were smashed, said the officer.

The labourers living in the house belong to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and work at different development projects.

It was the second grenade attack in Turbat town in as many days. On Thursday, a grenade was hurled at an office of the National Party.
