UBL unveils virtual prepaid card

KARACHI: United Bank Ltd has launched its virtual prepaid card to keep up with the ever-increasing demand for e-commerce transactions and the need for a safer and more secure payment option, a press release said on Tuesday.

The card is designed to create customer convenience in the e-commerce universe by providing a care-free online shopping experience, it added.

Orientm McCann wins award

KARACHI: In this year’s Campaign Asia-Pacific agency of the year awards, Orientm McCann took the first place in the “Pakistan Creative Agency of the Year” category by winning gold, a press release said on Tuesday.

For the past 24 years, Campaign Asia has been recognising creative excellence and outstanding business performance in the region.

Meanwhile, a separate press release by OMD Pakistan said it has been named the “Media Agency of the Year” by Campaign Asia-Pacific.

Bosch showroom in Lahore

LAHORE: The inaugural ceremony of the newly established Bosch showroom by BSH Hausgeräte GmbH was held on Tuesday.

The showroom, which has been established with local business partner Mega Home Appliances, was inaugurated in presence of the Punjab minister for Food Mr Bilal Yaseen.

Speaking at the event, BSH Home Appliances FZE CEO Mr Tomas Alonso said, “In a country like Pakistan, which has been facing power shortage issue, it’s imperative that hundreds of millions of daily usage household appliances such as refrigerators, oven, dishwashers and washing machines, etc, consume less energy to save the power.”
