SUKKUR: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah has said that the decision of US President Donald Trump about Jerusalem is a conspiracy against the world peace as protests condemning the move are not limited to Muslim countries but erupting in Europe and America as well.

Mr Shah was speaking at a quiz competition programme organised by a school on Saturday.

He appealed to countries across the globe to play their role for restoration of peace in conflict areas. He said conspiracies against Muslims were dangerous for the whole world.

Referring to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s efforts in gathering all Muslim countries in 1974, he said the Muslim community today was in dire need of unity to face anti-Muslim elements who were misinterpreting Islam.

Mr Shah urged national and international media to keep politics aside and play their role in maintaining peace.

A large number of teachers and students of private educational institutions attended the event.
