HYDERABAD: National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) took action against 207 public vehicles fitted with CNG cylinders in pursuance of the order of
Sindh High Court’s Hyderabad circuit bench during a weeklong campaign that started from Nov 23.
Police further stepped up the crackdown against CNG-fitted vehicles after recent accident near Nooriabad on Superhighway, now referred to as M-9 Motorway, in which nine people were killed and four were injured recently, said a press release on Wednesday.
