SIALKOT: Families of two of the victims of Turbat killings based in Jethikey village, Sambrial, have demanded stern action against human traffickers, their agents and sub-agents for sending people abroad illegally and putting their lives at risk.
They demanded crackdown on traffickers and their agents in Sialkot, which was said to be one of the central points of human trafficking. Abubakar and Majid were among the six Sialkot-based men killed in Turbat a few days ago.
Abubakar’s father Pervaiz Ahmed said: “We have lost everything after losing our beloved son.”
Majid’s father Qaiser Mahmood said: “Our poor financial condition forced us to let our son Majid go abroad for a bright future for the whole family.”
Both fathers said the killing of their loved ones had taught them “unforgettable” lessons, including how to be happy during ups and downs in life and not let your children get in the wrong hands for the sake of money.
They questioned: “Will the government agencies concerned wake up now to tame human traffickers and their agents?”
