LAHORE: Faisalabad Pool Rounds of the 13th Dawn In Education Spelling Bee Competition will be held today (Wednesday) at the Iqbal Auditorium of University of Agriculture Faisalabad.

Over 260 students from 35 schools will be competing in the Faisalabad Pool Rounds. The competition will be conducted in three age group categories: nine to 11 years, 12 to 14 years and 15 to 17 years. Three students from each group will qualify to participate in the Lahore Regional Championship that will be held on Oct 28, a press release issued here stated. Approximately 1,000 schools from across the country will be participating in this competition -- the largest school event in Pakistan organised under the Dawn in Education programme.

The competition is being organised by the Dawn Media Group and judges are provided by the Oxford University Press.
