ISLAMABAD: Two teenagers drowned in a nullah at Bhara Kahu on Tuesday, police stated.

Rashid, 15, and Umer, 16, residents of Bhara Kahu went to Korang Nullah at Shahpur for swimming.

They went into deep water during swimming and lost control and started drowning.

Their cries for help caught the attention of the nearby people, who rushed to rescue them, but they drowned before getting any help.

Later, the police and the rescue workers retrieved the bodies from the water and shifted them to hospital for further legal action.

Meanwhile, the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of capital police has arrested a bootlegger and recovered liquor from him, police stated.
