SAHIWAL: Local Municipal Corporation (MC) has sealed six more private housing colonies and towns for not obtaining no objection certificate (NOC) from the departments concerned.

These housing colonies have also been barred from selling plots and running advertisements until the clearance of dues and issuance of NOCs.

Official sources said Commissioner Babar Hayat Tarar had taken a tough stance against illegal housing societies on public complaints. Earlier, offices of the Tycoon City project were sealed and entire advertising material was removed from the city.

MC Enforcement Officer Khalid Zia said offices of Green Villas, Jatala Block, at Kacha Paka Noor Shah Road, Faiz-e-Madina Colony, village 82/6-R, Al-Shaikh and Al-Karim blocks at village 85/6-R and Al-Madina Town in village 85/6-R had been sealed.
