THIS is apropos your editorial ‘Threat to Al Jazeera ‘ (July 7). We have been watching and listening to global news from Al Jazeera which provides vast information.
In recent days, Al Jazeera is facing military threats from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE and Egypt because of the Arab spring. These countries have the soul purpose to shut down Al Jazeera because it had been providing news about these countries which may cause a bad image for them.
But we are hopeful that the founder of Al Jazeera, Qatar, won’t let it shut down so easily.

Al Jeezera got a little to pushy, and got slapped down. There are people in the Muslim world who believe they are the ones running the Muslim world - not matter how small the country. In the case of the Palestinians even those without a country. .

In the word where Media is influenced and controlled by few, Al Jeezera's independent new coverage stands out like beacon. Its news coverage and special reports are one of the best. I hope this newspaper survives in current form.
