GWADAR: The bullet-riddled body of a leader of the Balochistan National Party-Awami (BNP-A), kidnapped earlier this week, was found in the Dasht area of Kech district on Friday.

Official sources said Dost Mohammad Baloch, chairman of the BNP-A for Dasht, was travelling to Karachi on May 21, when he was kidnapped at gunpoint.

The body was spotted by the residents of the Sangai area, who then informed the local administration. Levies personnel shifted the corpse to the district hospital in Turbat and handed it over to heirs after medico-legal formalities.

The killers shot Mr Baloch from a close range and left the body in an abandoned area, said the Levies officials.

His son was also kidnapped and killed the same way last month.
