Education drive

MITHI: Activists working in the education sector in Thar have urged implementation of steps to promote education for the progress and development of the country.

They said: “Education being the backbone for the progress and development of any country needs utmost priority for its implementation in letter and spirit and lifelong learning opportunities for all as committed in the Sustainable Develop­ment Goals-4 (SDG-4) by all countries.”

Society for the Protection of the Rights of the Child reg­ional manager Kashif Baj­eer, along with Partab Shivani, Obhayo Junejo, Sajid Bajeer and other activists, were addressing a press conference in connection with ‘Act­ion Week for Education 2017’ here regar­d­ing ‘Global Cam­paign for Educa­tion’.
