KHUZDAR: A local leader of the Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) was killed and his wife and two relatives were injured in a road accident near the Wadh area of Khuzdar district on Monday.
According to the police, Mir Noorullah Shahwani, president of the Mastung chapter of the BNP-M, was coming to Mastung from Karachi by pick-up with his wife and two relatives. When the vehicle reached near the Wadh area, it collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction.
Mr Shahwani died and his wife and relatives — Zahid Ahmed and Mohammad Asif — suffered injuries. They were taken to the District Hospital in Mastung.
