QUETTA: Accountability Court judge Abdul Majeed Nasar issued a charge-sheet against five accused in a mega corruption case on Friday.

The accused in the case are former adviser to the chief minister Mir Khalid Langove, former finance secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Raisani, contractor Sohail Majeed Shah, former secretary of local government Basit and former secretary of local bodies’ board Faisal.

All the accused pleaded not guilty to the allegations mentioned in the charge-sheet.

The lawyer for Sohail Majeed Shah requested the court that a plea bargain application of his client was pending before authorities concerned and, therefore, his client’s name should not be included in the charge-sheet.

The judge, however, turned down his request.

The court asked the prosecutor general of NAB, Balochistan, to produce witnesses in the court on the next hearing of the case on March 22.
