RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has claimed having seized 15.6kg of drugs and nabbed 20 peddlers, among them eight who supplied narcotics to students.

The ANF staff arrested two drug pushers near the Degree College for Boys on Kabirwala-Jhang road in Khanewal and seized 360g of hashish. Muhammad Bashir of Multan and Muhammad Nadeem of Khanewal used to supply drugs to students of private and public schools and colleges, an ANF press release stated on Thursday.

The ANF staff of Lahore apprehended Muhammad Faisal and Irfan Masih, of Sheikhupura, near the Government College, Ravi Road.

A Karachi-based peddler, Ijazullah, also targeting students, was arrested with 1.15kg of hashish near the Government Secondary School, Dawood Chaurangi, Landhi.

The Rawalpindi ANF seized 200g of hashish from Muhammad Ayaz of Attock who supplied drugs to educational institutions of his area.
