LAHORE: The Punjab police team won the first match of the IGP Punjab Gold Cup Volleyball Tournament played at Wapda Sports Complex here on Wednesday.

According to a handout, the teams of Punjab police, army, navy, PAF, Wapda and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab are participating in the five-day tourney.

Punjab Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Jahangir Khanzada, Additional IG (Operations) retired Capt Arif Nawaz and DIG (Operations) Aamir Zulfiqar attended the first day event.
