PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police on Wednesday notified transfers and postings of 11 officers.

A statement issued from the Central Police Office said that KP police chief Nasir Khan Durrani transferred AIG Elite Force Syed Akhtar Ali Shah and posted him as AIG headquarters. Mr Ali was replaced by Mohammad Ashraf, who had been awaiting posting.

Capt retired Tahir Ayub, who was awaiting posting at the CPO, has been posted DIG traffic police, while Commandant Campus Peace Corps Qasim Ali Khan has been transferred and posted as SSP coordination, Peshawar.

Acting SP Elite Force, Swat, Nowsher Khan has been transferred and posted as Acting Commandant Campus Peace Corps at the University of Peshawar.

Acting SP Special Branch Shahid Ahmed has been transferred and posted as acting DPO Lower Kohistan district; DSP investigation CPO Mohammad Nawaz has been transferred and posted as acting SP investigations, Buner district.

DSP Mukhtiar Ahmed has been transferred and posted as acting SP investigations, Lower Dir; DSP CTD Hafeezur Rehman has been transferred and posted as acting SP investigations, Upper Kohistan; DSP headquarters, Nowshera, Hayatullah Khan has been transferred and posted as DSP security Bacha Khan Medical College, Mardan, and DSP Shaheen Shah has been promoted and posted as DSP headquarters, Nowshera.

In addition to this, six inspectors, including Arshad Khan, Mohammad Khurshid, Gohar, Mohammad Yasin, Samina Zafar and Mehboob Khan have been promoted to the rank of DSP.
