ISLAMABAD: The second phase of national junior snooker training camp, under the supervision of Iranian coach, commenced here at the billiard and snooker hall of Pakistan Sports Complex on Wednesday.

The 15-day training camp, in which top 10 junior players of U-18 & U-21 snooker circuit are participating under the supervision of Soheil Vahedi of Iran, will concluded on Feb 15. The first phase of the coaching camp was held in Oct 2016.

Vahedi was crowned as the IBSF World Snooker Champion 2016 in Doha, Qatar and is an internationally certified coach.

The ten players at the camp include talented Naseem Akhar, who recently won the U-18 and U-21 national junior championships, Haris Tahir, Shaikh Mudassir, Majid Ali, Abdul Javed, Umer Farooq, Saud Khan, Abdul Raheem, Muhammad Saqib and Muhammad Rafiq.
