KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Dr Farooq Sattar has congratulated Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on assuming his new office and wished him well.

Speaking to Gen Bajwa over the phone, Dr Sattar lauded the armed forces for maintaining peace and stability in the country and hoped that the COAS would lead the war against terrorism to its logical end during his tenure, according to a statement issued by the MQM-P on Tuesday.
