RAWALPINDI: A total of 13 convicted terrorists were moved to the new high security prison Sahiwal from the Central Jail Adiala on Thursday.

Six of the 13 are death row prisoners sentenced by the military courts for involvement in terrorist attacks. They have been identified as Abdul Rehman, Qasim Ali, Saifullah, Muslim Khan, Mohammad Yousaf and Bilal Mehmood.

Israr Ahmed, another prisoner has been sentenced to five years in prisoner, Mubashir Iqbal to 23 years in prison and Sartaj, Ibrarul Haq and Shahzad Khan to 25 years in prison each.

Mufti Fazal Ghaffar and Fawad Khan were sentenced to 20 years in prison each for involvement in terrorism cases.

Earlier, 10 high profile convicts were moved to the prison in Sahiwal from Adiala.
