PESHAWAR: Mardan’s right-arm pacer Nadra steered her team to a three-wicket victory over Peshawar White in the ongoing 2nd All-Pakistan Twenty20 Women Cricket Tournament on Wednesday.

Nadra finished with figures of 4 for 11 runs in her three-over spell at the Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium.

Peshawar skipper Saira won the toss and elected to bat first and managed a meager total of 64 runs. She contributed 20 runs while Momina was the second best scorer with 15 runs.

Sadia, Aysha and Kukab grabbed two wickets each for Mardan.

Mardan started off the chase in a shaky manner as they lost their first wicket at the score of just one run before Sana scored 17 runs and Kukab hit a quick-fire 16 with three boundaries helping Mardan achieve the target just before the 14th over.

For Peshawar 13-year-old Mahnoor claimed three wickets for just 10 runs while Neelam and Salma got one wicket each. The match was supervised by Hajra Sarwar and Sohail Zaman while Qadir acted as official scorer.

Players from both sides were introduced to the Chairman Frontier Foundation Sahibzada Haleem before the match started.

Organising Secretary Malik Amjad Aziz Malik, Mrs. Raham Bibi (Peshawar), Gul Nar (Mardan) were also present.
