LAHORE: The Punjab government has posted Muhammad Ahsan Younas (BPS-19) as City Police Officer (CPO) Multan, relieving Muhammad Rizwan Ahmed Khan, additional superintendent of police, City Multan, of additional charge of the post.

Mr Younas was serving as AIG (Legal) HRC, Central Police Office, Punjab.

Meanwhile, the police department transferred and posted nine police officers. Usman Akram Gondal has been posted as District Police Officer (DPO) Toba Tek Singh vice Shahzad Akbar, who has been transferred Central Police Office, Punjab. Mr Gondal was serving as SSP Motor Transport Wing Punjab, Lahore. Hasan Asad Alvi, awaiting posting, has been posted as DPO Jehlum vice Mujahid Akbar Khan who has been sent to CPO Punjab, Lahore. Ashfaq Ahmad Khan, awaiting posting, has been posted as DPO Bahawalpur vice Sarfraz Ahmad Falki, who has been sent to CPO Punjab, Lahore. Omer Saeed Malik, additional SP Headquarters Lahore, transferred and posted as DPO Vehari against an existing vacancy. Dr Sardar Ghias Gul, chief traffic officer, Rawalpindi, has been transferred and posted as DPO Hafizabad vice Muhammad Haroon Joya, who has been sent to CPO Punjab, Lahore.
