KARACHI: The Pakistan Disabled Cricket Association (PDCA) on Tuesday announced trials for Azad Jammu Kashmir and Faisalabad will be held on Thursday.

According to PDCA honorary secretary Amiruddin Ansari, the trials for players belonging to AJK will be conducted at the Quaid-i-Azam Cricket Stadium, Mirpur.

The president of AJK Cricket Association Nasir Butt will be the chairman of selection committee while Fahad Ikram, PCB U-19 coach for the region is the member of the body.

On the same day the trials to select Faisalabad squad will be held at the Municipal Cricket Ground (Abdulla­hpur) in Faisalabad under the supervision of PDCA coordinator and chief selector Tanvir Shaukat, who is also the PCB head coach while Farooq Chohan will act as a member. The selected squads of AJK and Faisalabad will compete in the fifth ICRC National Disabled T20 Cricket Championship in Karachi later this month.
