APROPOS the report ‘CNIC re-verification hit by major technical snag’ (July 18). If you send your CNIC on 8008, you will receive the details of your family members.
It was mentioned in the procedure that if the information regarding your family members is correct you ought to reply by pressing 1, and if it is incorrect, you should press 2 and the Nadra personnel will contact you.
The reply I got from Nadra included my elder brother’s name under my family members’ list. It was incorrect, as he is the head of his own family. I pressed 2. It is now about a week now, and no one from Nadra has contacted me to inquire about my concerns.
Nadra should ensure that the officials responsible for the rectification of problems should contact citizens who face anomalies immediately.
