Karachi roads

Published July 23, 2016

The National Highway from Gulshan-i-Hadeed to the airport is extrimely dilapidated at a number of points, causing traffic jams and damage to many vehicles.

These days it is very difficult to go through Quaidabad. Similarly, from Safoora Chowrangi to Karachi University the road is broken at many points.

Even when repaires are done, these do not last more than three months or one a rainfall.

The quality of Karachi roads is simply unacceptable. I wonder whether there is a country in the world whose national highways and roads remain in a state of constant disrepair. The chief minister should look into the problem.
