HYDERABAD: Hyderabad won the PCB Regional Inter-district U-19 cricket tournament for sixth consecutive time on points table after drawing their match against Mirpurkhas here at the Niaz Stadium on Friday.

Hyderabad earned 36 points against Mirpurkhas’s 31.

Batting first, Hyderabad scored 131 all out as Asad Malik (40) remained the top scorer. For Mirpurkhas, Ramesh Thanwer, Fahim Ahmed and Mohammad Waleed took 3-29, 3-22 and 3-24, respectively.

Mirpurkhas, in their turn, could only score 112 all out with only Mohammad Suleman (35) offering some resistance. Saad Khan took 2-6 for Hyderabad.

In their second innings, Hyderabad scored 177-5. Saad Khan made 72 with 14 boundaries.
