RAWALPINDI: A man was found shot dead at deserted area of Khurram Colony in Sadiqabad on Friday.

The victim, who could not be identified by the police, was wearing sky-blue shalwar kameez.

However, nothing was found from his pockets which could help the police in identifying him.

Police said the victim, seemed to be a painter, was believed to be killed in the early hours of Friday when he was going to his workplace.

The body was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for postmortem. The police have been trying to trace the family of the victim.
