ISLAMABAD: In a bid to improve trade ties, Portugal’s trade agency is set to appoint a focal person in Pakistan.
Recently, Pakistan-Portugal Business Council (PPBC) Chairman Mohammad Awais met with Portuguese Secretary of State for International Affairs, Jorge Costa Oliveira in Lisbon and requested to have the trade agency’s office in Pakistan.
The Secretary of State agreed to appoint a special focal person in this regard in Pakistan and expressed willingness to visit the country.
