SUKKUR: Sukkur, Dadu and their adjoining areas, including the famous summer resort Gorakh Hill Station, received light rain on Thursday evening, which turned the weather pleasant just a few days after the onset of summer.

The rain came at a time when the weather had started getting warm and people had barely put their warm clothes back into the cabinets.

People in Sukkur welcomed the brief respite and rushed to celebrate the rain by eating samosas, pakoras and other food items. Many families visited recreation parks to enjoy the pleasant weather.
