KOHAT: Two persons allegedly committed suicide while three others were killed in firing and road accident here on Friday.

Official sources said that Amir Hayat and Hassan Haider of Ustarzai village took their lives by shooting themselves following family disputes. However, they said that police had started investigations to ascertain what made them to take their own lives.

In KDA Town, unknown armed men killed one Mohammad Amir, a resident of Garhai Mandan, and escaped. Mohammad Naseer, Amir’s son, had registered the case in KDA police station.

In Mohammadzai town, one Mohammad Zaman allegedly killed Inamullah. The cantonment police have registered the case. Son of the deceased, Sanullah, reported the case to the police which have started investigations.

Meanwhile a speeding Karachi-bound bus (9270) ran over a farmer, Hashim Khan, who was standing by the road in Chambai. The police have arrested the driver.
