MIRPURKHAS: Four members of a family were killed and three others injured when two cars collided head-on on Mirpurkhas-Mirwah Gorchani Road on Friday.

The deceased victims were identified as Shafique Arain, 35, his brother Ashfaque Arain, 38, and their cousins, Imran Arain, 40, and Musaddiq Arain, 45. Shafiq Arain was being taken to a Karachi hospital for dialysis, it was learnt. The family belonged to Kunri taluka.

The other car was carrying

Dr Bhagwandas, his wife, Kanta Bai, and their relative, Mr Mukesh, all of whom were injured in the accident.

Residents of Talhi village, they were taken to the Mirpurkhas Civil Hospital where doctors admitted Mr Mukesh and referred the couple to the Liaquat Medical University Hospital, Hyderabad, due to their serious condition.
