QUETTA: Two people were injured in a blast at a bus stand in Lehri area here on Thursday.

Levies officials said unidentified people planted explosives in a motorcycle and parked it at the bus stand in Lehri area.

Two people, Bakhtair Ahmed and Mohammad Khan, were injured when the remote-controlled device was detonated.

The injured persons were taken to the district hospital.

Meanwhile, unidentified people on a motorcycle attacked a police station in Kechhi Baig area near Quetta with a hand-grenade.

The device exploded outside the police station, rocking the area and shattering windowpanes of nearby houses and the police station.
