HYDERABAD: Hyderabad recorded their second successive win in the regional inter-district tournament when they crushed Sanghar by an innings and 104 runs at the Niaz Stadium here on Monday.

Electing to bat first on Sunday, Hyderabad posted 416 with Nasir Awais top-scoring with 128. Mohammad Qazzafi (87), Shoaib Laghari (43) and Asif Mahmood (46) were the other notable scorers.

Sanghar’s Hassan Baig claimed 4-93, Rao Sajid 3-85 and Gul Sher Dahri 2-84.

Sanghar, in reply, were sent packing for 87 in 28.2 overs, and had to face follow-on.

In the second innings, they were sent packing for 225 off 33.3 overs. The only notable scorers from Sanghar were Kamran Rehmani (64), Gul Sher Dahri (53) and Zeeshan Abrar (48).

Nasir Awais claimed 5-78, Shoaib Laghari 2-10 and Farhan Ayub 2-42.
