KARACHI: Skipper Asmavia Iqbal produced a fine all-round performance as Omar Associates continued their winning spree in the 10th Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah National Women’s Cricket Tournament here on Friday.

In the Super League fixture at the Model Town Cricket Academy Ground in Lahore, Omar Associates defeated Saif Sports Saga by 71 runs.

Batting first, Omar Associates made 214 all out in 48.3 overs. Opener Sidra Amin scored 53 (three fours and one six) and Asmavia blasted seven boundaries and one six in making 58 off 45 balls.

Asmavia then took 2-34 as Saif Sports Saga were restricted to 143 all out. Sidra Yousuf and Shumaila Qureshi also bagged two wickets apiece, while giving away 17 and 20 runs, respectively.
