ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has offered to Albania to provide higher education and training facilities to its people.

In a meeting on Thursday with the President of Albania, Mr Bujar Nishani, in Istanbul on the sidelines of centenary celebrations of Canakkale battles, President Mamnoon Hussain said that high-level contacts were necessary for maintaining and expanding friendly relations between the two countries. He called for promotion of bilateral relations in various fields, including economy, trade and culture.

Mr Hussain invited the President Nishani to visit Pakistan.
