Following their success with their rendition of 'Main Sufi Hon', The Sketches recently released their new video 'Maujood' which pays tribute to the soulful poetry of popular Sufi saint Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai.

With Saif Samejo on the vocals, the song follows a slow tune which gets in harmony with lyrics resonating profound meaning in few words.

As Saif hums 'mo me hai maujood' (within me you are), the video features a serene outlook absorbing the melancholic poetry by the saint invoking the Creator. Beseeching on, the poet says he knows nothing and doesn't have any way out of the misery of this world.

A common subject in Sufi poetry, The Sketches' rendition is also a tribute to the mystical relation of the creation and the Creator with a sense of longing and loss.

Earlier, The Sketches' 'Meena' bagged a nomination at the Hum Awards 2015. Their 'Main Sufi' also got rave reviews and so did the track's video which featured Abbas Jafri and Suhaee Abro.
