SHEIKHUPURA: Lahore High Court Chief Justice Khwaja Imtiaz Ahmed says the online system has been introduced in district courts of Sheikhupura.

Addressing bar members here on Saturday, he said the online system was established on an experiment basis in the court of Civil Judge Shazia Munawwar.

He said that litigants would be able to know about hearing dates and other information regarding their cases. He said the coordination between the bench and bar was necessary to provide justice to the masses.

Bar President Khalid Rasheed Malik demanded of the chief justice to establish the Lawyers Colony and early completion of under-construction SA Kasir Hall.

He also demanded that lawyers should be exempted from paying a toll tax fee between Sheikhupura and Lahore and Sheikhupura and Faisalabad.
