QUETTA: Four bodies, including those of two kidnapped Levies personnel, were found in Balochistan's troubled Zhob district on Tuesday morning.

Three polio workers and two Levies personnel were kidnapped on Friday from Murgha Kibzai area of Zhob district.

According to Levies sources, two bodies were identified as that of kidnapped Levies officials and one was identified as the driver of the polio team.

One dead body is yet to be identified, the sources added.

The bodies were brought to District Headquarters Zhob for postmortem amid tight security. A large number of people gathered at the hospital to mourn the killings.

In the meantime, Balochistan government postponed the anti-polio campaign in Quetta, Zhob, Sherani and Sibi districts of the province.

The campaign was postponed due to looming security threats, an officer of the health department, who declined to be named, told Dawn.

Balochistan health department had established teams to administer polio drops to children below the age of five years in the aforesaid four districts.
