ISLAMABAD: A man who went missing on Friday was found dead at Rose and Jasmine Garden on Saturday, police said.

The body was spotted by a supervisor of the garden who informed the police which shifted the body to hospital for medico-legal.

The deceased was identified as Niamat Shah, a native of Haripur.

The police said he was employed at a restaurant.

The restaurant owner had lodged a complaint with the Aabpara police about the disappearance of the man.

The police believed that a knife found lying near the body was the murder tool. The victim was stabbed in the abdomen.

On January 24, the beheaded body of a man stuffed in a sack was found from a nullah in G-6/2.
