Law officer escapes gun attack

KHUZDAR: District Attorney Lasbela Zafar Baloch survived an attempt on his life in the industrial town of Hub on Friday.

Official sources said unidentified attackers opened fire on Mr Baloch’s car when he was returning home from the court.

“Bullets hit his car but he remained unhurt,” police said, adding the attackers escaped after the incident.

A case was registered against the gunmen and investigation started.
