Bilawal facing threats to life from Jundallah: Sindh government

KARACHI: The government of Sindh has ordered law enforcement agencies "to ensure extreme vigilance" and take "special measures" as the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari faces threats to his life from outlawed group Jundallah.
The provincial government in what was intended as a confidential letter shared intelligence of a plan being made by the banned group to target the PPP chairperson.
However, the leaked letter stated that details regarding the date, time, place and method of the attack were still unknown.

Directives by the Sindh government for additional security measures for Bilawal were sent to the headquarter of Pakistan Rangers and to the office of the Inspector General of Sindh Police.
News of the latest threat comes as Bilawal is scheduled to address supporters at the mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah on Oct 18 — the day when the homecoming caravan of his mother and former prime minister Benazir Bhutto was attacked in twin blasts on Shahrah-i-Faisal.

Death is in the hand of almighty. These threats are meaningless unless time has come to go. Zardari recently said his son is very dear to him than why is he risking his life and forcing him to lead a life as a prisoner. Hasn't he done enough damage to the Bhutto family for his greed. Please let him enjoy the billions and lead his life like any other person. It would be better than Premiership.

My recommendation: Take him into 'protective custody' by confining him to a remote, unknown location, with no phone or internet access, and where very few can reach him. That will be better for all! He may not be so safe in Dubai or London.

I am not a fan of Bilawal, but one thing for sure. He is the only politician who has shown the courage to condemn the terrorists. No other politician has had the spine to do so. IK in fact shows tacit support for the TTP by being apologetic for them citing "America's War in Afghanistan" as reason for their existence.

We need leaders who can learn to live not as a VIP but as an ordinary citizen.
It is not acceptable that ordinary citizen are killed by terrorists and no security provided to them but VIPs travel in bullet proof land cruisers, surrounded by tousands of police/para militray, security guards and roads are closed for ordinary people for hours so that these VIPs can passed by.
Why the blood of ordinary men and VIPs are not equal?
What good these VIPs have done for our country that they are being given such a king style security treatment?

So far nothing he did worked, so this is the final card (playing victim) to gain sympathy and thus support. Real threats to public figures are never publicized but are investigated in strict secrecy unless it was meant to gain support, not because of your ideas, but because of sympathy. Nice move Bilawal!

These julsas are only in Pakistan & India. Why there are no julsas in any western democracy. It is not old times when there was no TV. Only way the leaders could contact to the people was to have Julsas. These Julsas should be banned completely for any
purpose. That will save innocent lives of public and security personals. Lots of people cannot go to work. Politicians & Religious
