KHZUDAR: A man and a woman were killed and eight others injured when the vehicle the family was travelling in overturned in Wadh area on the National Highway on Tuesday.

A family from Ornach was going to Khuzdar when the driver of the pick-up lost control while taking a U-turn on Karachi-Quetta National Highway in Waher area of Wadh tehsil in Khuzdar district, Levies officials said.

Two passengers – a man and a woman died on the spot – and eight more including two women received serious injuries, they said adding local people and Levies personnel shifted the dead and injured to the Civil Hopsital Khuzdar. Doctors described the condition of some of the injured as serious.
