He committed a crime and he paid for it. Saudis are our big brothers and are leaders of ummah. We must not question the judgement of those who are custodians of the holiest place on earth.

Pakistanis should protest to Saudis for beheading a fellow citizen. Saudis have no right to behead our citizens, instead they should be handed over to Pakistan for investigation and appropriate humane punishment.

Saudia Arabia is a our best friend. If a Pakistani is found in an alleged crime, he/she can be beheaded without much of due process. However, there is no history of any Saudian been convicted or prosecuted in Pakistan. What a friendship.

Pakistan should denounce the nationality of such individuals. What a source of shame they are for the millions of hard working, honest Pakistani citizens.

This is shameful decision and they are continuously doing it. What judicial probe, investigation, cross examination, right of defense was provided to this hapless victim? Why is such a market exists of consumers high end of course where people can risk their lives for small amount of profit. It is reported in western newspapers that there is high amount of alochol and drugs consumed in S. Arabia. Why not go after the consumption and thos untouchable consumers. Of course they can't be ordinary workers who risk their lives for even smaller violations. Again, the Saudi law ignores the most important fact that this victim could be a small carrier --the lowest in the ladder of heroin trade. By quick exectuion, they would be closing their door to find their real organiztion, the real consumers and the real network behind this menace. That alone would a great travesity to their judcial system irrespetive of their Shria laws. There is nothing is Shria that the probe cannot be continued for the larger cause, or a more detailed investigation cannot be launched to find the main culprits behind it. We all know that these carriers do not indulge alone--there is always an oganization behind it, a network of sellers, purchasers, consumers, and the mafiso manipulating all these things. Meanwhile the government of Pakistan should launch a strong protest, and any Saudi prince violating our laws should also be hanged. Couple of years ago, the executed a Phillipono maid, but dared not touched British or white American culprits violating their laws.

I think people in heroine or any kind of drugs business should be punished like this; have you ever seen how parents suffer when they see their son is addicted to such stuff; however, I hope and pray there is enough findings to prove someone guilty there and no innocent person is being beheaded there

I wish that the Pakistan government can stop killing of citizens in Saud e Arabia for drugs smuggling. Lot of people have no education that what will happen to them and their families. No rich person is arrested over there.

No where in Quran such punishment is mentioned. They should at least bring the human rights and labour laws to the level of the Western democracy and justice system if not to that to a true Islamic state laws. People are treated like slaves by keeping their passports with the employers and even withholding their salaries for months without realising how their families will survive. Which civilised country will treat the labours like this?

Using drugs is a voluntary act. The drug user is responsible for choosing to engage in this act. Providing drugs though a despicable act still doesn't warrant a death sentence. Increasing the severity of the law at times makes the situation worse as it increases the monetary gain of something that's desired by users. Training the people to choose to avoid drugs is a much better policy than chopping heads off. It hasn't stopped much of trafficking has it? @UnshacklePak

We need this kind of treatment to terrorists, murderers and rapists in our country we need more strict laws in pakistan for the protection of fellow citizens we have had enough of crimes , more executions means less crimes thats why arab states have much less crimes than pakistan and india because of their high rates of executions , victims get their justice easily

India is respecting human values..there is a growing consensus n awareness regarding d rights of convicted. .n in any case..Supreme court of India has taken a principled stand of capital punishment in RAREST OF RARE CASES since more than 2 decades.thrz no fixed criteria n case by case consideration is given. in December, the court formulated new guidelines fr convicts whose mercy petitions has been rejected. n dragged fr years..n hopefully most will be set free...yes, they hv committed some heinous crimes but still their rights have to be respected. . we dnt try to be like animal even with criminals. dts how democracies think who value progressive thought..n beheading etc is certainly regressive.
