SUKKUR: The bodies of a woman and her two daughters were found dumped in Chanali village near Ubauro town of Ghotki district on Saturday.

The woman was identified as Nazeeran Chachar, 35, wife of Ali Nawaz Chachar, and her daughters as Rukhsana, 5, and Afsana, 18 months. Mr Chachar is said to be an army soldier.

Residents of the village said that the woman’s body was found hanging from a tree and those of her daughters lying beneath it. They said they informed the area police after spotting the bodies, which were then taken to the Daharki Taluka Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

The Ubauro police have arrested Mr Chachar’s brother, Allah Dino, on suspicion of his involvement in the triple murder.
