SUKKUR: A 20-year-old youth was gunned down outside his house on Civil Hospital Road in Garhi Khero town of Jacobabad district on Tuesday.

Feroze Lehri, 20, son of Jahangir Lehri, was standing outside his house when by armed men riding a motorcycle targeted him and drove away. The victim died on the spot.Garhi Khero police took the body to the local civil hospital for a post-mortem examination and then handed it over to the heirs.

The police said they were looking for Saiful Mughal, who had reportedly been threatening Feroze Lehri over his alleged extra-marital affair with a woman related to the suspect.

The police said they tried to arrest him but it appeared that the suspect and his family had abandoned their house.
