SWABI: Three bodies were found in different parts of the district here on Thursday, police said.

Two bodies were found in maize fields near Safdar Chowk in the jurisdiction of Topi police station. The local farmers informed the police about the bodies who later placed them at civil hospital, Topi, for identification.

A police official told Dawn that the victims belonged to Badbher, Peshawar.

“The relatives of the deceased have reached the hospital to get the bodies,” said another official. He said the bodies were identified as that of Shah Faisal and his mother.

In the second incident at Serai village, body of one Yasir Khan was recovered from the fields. According to police, the boy went out of the home and did not return. They said that the family was informed in the morning by the local people about his killing. Yasir’s parents said that they had no enmity with anyone. The police registered an FIR against unidentified killers and have started investigation.

Meanwhile, a man was killed in Kotha village when two parties exchanged heavy fire. The cause of the incident was stated to be an old enmity. However, the name of the deceased could not be immediately known.
